"I was given something wonderful, something that changed me forever ... a vision of the Universe that tells us undeniably how tiny and insignificant... and how rare and precious we all are. A vision that tells us that we belong to something greater than ourselves, that we are not... that none of us are alone..."

"Where are the nuclear wessels?"

^ I'll be visiting San Francisco this summer and I am SO going to locate that street corner and take many many pictures. I may even ask random passersby for directions to the nuclear wessels. :guffaw:

Don't use any kind of brackets. Just post the HTTP address of the video you're trying to embed - nothing more. Xenforo will take care of the rest.

Its funny most of mine are from good films but not necessarily "classics".

Things like the final fight from blade 1 where he gets his glasses back and beats all the bad guys, or the chataeu fight scene from the second matrix film. or the 2 endings from bad boys 1 and 2 with now that's how you are supposed to.... from now on that's how you ....

The scene in Roxanne where the fire chief (Steve Martin) has to come up with 20 better comments about the size of his nose than "Big Nose".

Battle of Coruscant - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Payback time - Predator
Battle of Sector 001 - Star Trek: First Contact
Mace Windu confronting Darth Sidious - Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
The Throne Room - Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

This one losses a bit on the small screen, but the Lighting of the Beacons from Return of The King

There are so many, and I would have to think about it more.

But off the top of my head, the scene in Jurassic Park when Dr. Grant and co. first encounter herds of dinosaurs. It blew me away when I was a kid. That was the first time I'd believably seen dinosaurs as living creatures that moved, not just as a collection of bones.

A lot of the CGI in Jurassic Park, blew audiances away and still stands up today over 20 years later. Whilst some more recent CGI looks fake.

Someone mentioned thr Battle of Courscant above but for me this is the better space battle in SW.

The CGI heavy Battle of Corscant just looks off to me, not saying CGI doesn't have a place in films but i think the PT relied too heavily on it. But each to their own.

Bronson. A movie about a high spirited and creative young man.

Great scenes with Bana playing Australia's most famous, contemporary lumpencrook, the late Chopper Read.

Guess I'll always be a dupe for the final scenes in the Dead Poet's Society.

Children of Men: The long continuous scene escaping fire in the refugee area.

Inglorious Basterds: The opening scene.

Dr Strangelove: 'Why did you build a doomsday device?' 'We heard America was building a doomsday device. We were worried about a Doomsday Gap'.

Mulholland Drive: The Cowboy.

Just a few, off the top of my head:

TWoK:
Spock's Funeral

LotR: Return of the King: Battle at Minas Tirith

BTTF Part 1: The climax in the storm with Marty trying to get home and Doc trying to keep the clock tower connected to the power line
