What are your favorite 1-episode characters?

According to ENT, Vulcans preferred staying on their own ships rather than being stuck with loud, smelly, illogical humans.
Yeah... that's illogical. Logically, if you're going to have a union, such as the Vulcans & Humans have with the UFP, then its prosperity depends upon unification of those elements. What's the point of having a union between Humans & Vulcans if they actively choose to not work together?

I really like Mordock as a one episode character, I felt his personality was very profound and when he stated that Wesley should have been the one accepted he had shown much gratitude.

I’m glad Wesley didn’t go to the academy because we would lose him from the show for abou a whole season.

There have been a great many alliances that have not involved living together 24/7, but I'm sympathetic to your point.

Everybody always forgets poor Ray Wise worshiping The Picard in Who Watches The Watchers.
Few times that I've read the thread title Liko has popped into my head.
Only now that someone else mentioned him I'm brave enough to reply. :)
Don't know why though.. Maybe because 'Who Watches The Watchers' is among my top 10 TNG episodes and I thought that's why he was so good.
It think that Vulcan makeup just makes you forget it's him

You mean Mintakan makeup? :)

Leland is great in WWTW but his scripting is unmemorable.

Speaking of Taurik. In my headcanon he’s the same person as Vaurik and it’s a Jerry Gurgich situation.

They're related though... yeah? Technically, I should call it Romulan Makeup, because it was those TNG Romulans that got the ball rolling on the ugly prosthetic foreheads, in place of the old Spock brows lol

I don't remember if they're related in some way.

Memory Alpha says:
proto-vulcan humanoid species

Okona is how nerds think jocks get girls.

Anyone take a long time to notice that the guy in Matter of Perspective is the same actor as Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul?

I'm just rewatching TNG again. Thought may as well have a whirl in nostalgia before Picard's back this year.

The Bynars from 11001001 are a great one-shot group of characters. Does Armin Shimmerman as the message box in Haven count ? I was howling with laughter.

Dishonourable mentions to Lutan and Armus. ;)

Not sure if it counts since the episode was in two parts but I really enjoyed Jerry Hardin's performance as Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) in Time's Arrow.

I loved Ba'el (the half-Klingon/half-Romulan girl) and her parents in Birthright, I would have loved to see what happened to them :)

Armus
The Conspiracy bugs
Negilum
Cmdr Maddox
Kyle Riker
Lt Castillo
Robert Picard
Ishara Yar
Cpt Ben Maxwell
Robin Lefler (I think she had two episodes but one was a fleeting appearance)
Scotty
The Schisms aliens
Gul Madred
Tom Riker (admittedly he did come back for DS9)
Admiral Pressman
Ronin (okay not really, just seeing if you’re paying attention)
