What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

In the Everybody Loves Raymond episode "Mia Famiglia", the Barones learn that their Italian ancestors stole another Italian family's last name when they came to America, leaving behind whatever it was that their real surname used to be.

Yeah, this "LD removed three whole seasons of DSC from canon" thing....

just....what Shaw said.

Actually the show erased all the Trek shows just about. Lower Decks removes SNW which removes Discovery which removes TOS which removes TNG,DS9,Voyager and Enterprise and Prodigy. Turns out the only Trek show left is Orville. Totally not connected. :)

The Orville is my favorite Star Trek. When is season four coming out?

I particularly like the shuttle, well thought out and with seat belts!

I also like how from season one to the start of season three, enhanced the Orville for war...

It is obvious that Seth McFarland did his homework into hard Sci-Fi, taking notes on the Star Trek creators/writers got wrong. Did they speaking of them, get anything really right?

^Whew, the number of things wrong with that post.

Well for one thing there is no mention of Galaxy Quest.

There is nothing hard about the Orville. It's also not Star Trek. It's quite disingenuous towards both properties to claim it as such. Unless you want to call Star Trek your favorite Forbidden Planet show? :vulcan:

Unlike Jayson, this isn't even worthy of getting the fire hose out.
