What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

I think without a general sense of optimism, there’s simply no real reason to exist. Life isn’t remotely perfect, but there are things that make it worthwhile. Optimism is at the top of that list. Optimism for our spouses, our kids, our situations. Without it, life would just be a trudge of obligations with no joy.
Sounds very logical to fulfill ones obligations :vulcan:

This.

Life is full of ups and downs, and the last few years have been especially down. A global pandemic, cancer taking out a significant part of my family, and being laid off from work twice in two years, life has not been easy. But I have a wonderful wife, an amazing son, and I refuse to believe life won't get better. I have my dark moments, just like everyone else, but life is what you make it, and I refuse to stay in those dark moments.

And bacon. Optimism and bacon.

Bacon makes everything better. Including life.

And how is Star Trek so popular? I've never seen bacon in it :vulcan:

Ah, Enterprise and Voyager. Never finished it ;)
