What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

More is not always better. Great example: Q appearing on VOYAGER. "DEATH WISH" was excellent. The other two episodes, "THE Q AND THE GREY" and "Q2"... terrible.

There are exceptions of course. Q is always an exception. Even one is one too many.

Twice in TOS/TAS and in a couple of movies. Not all that numerous.

It already felt weird when he got a secret brother in Star Trek V, so doing it again was a bit eye-rolling.

Unknown to us doesn't equal "secret".

I wish Paramount would license the completed New Trek series such as Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek Lower Decks to Netflix all over the world with non-exclusive agreements, so that many people in Turkey and other countries where Paramount is not available would have the opportunity to watch Star Trek Discovery and Lower Decks. How nice?

It would be nice if Netflix licensed Star Trek Section 31 as a non-exclusive all over the world.

I'm a Star Trek fan, and as such, I actually love about 90% of the franchise.

And even the other 10% really isn't that bad.
