If you are in an alert situation where you are manning the CIC in port, then I guarantee you the bridge will most likely be manned as well.
As someone who served in the US Navy, I can assure you that I am not confused about what type of environment we are talking about here. I do appear to have misunderstood your response ofThey are on the sea, not in space.
as meaning 'that the bridge is manned only at sea and not in port even if the CIC is manned' which I was pointing out isn't the case. Sorry about the miscomms there. On ships at sea.
You are an adept pupil...
If you don't want to watch TMP.
I'm a fan of TMP. I don't think you've seen very many of my non-DSC/PIC posts. Why wouldn't you want to watch it? It just might be the best Kirk era Trek movie.
And now: very many, if not all, are going to say, "no Jester, you're wrong".
This would be controversial with some. I'd have left almost all of these deleted scenes in the movie.
The movie would be improved by them or at the least not made any worse.
It's your opinion. Why wouldn't you want to watch it? It just might be the best Kirk era Trek movie.
And now: very many, if not all, are going to say, "no Jester, you're wrong".
The crew wore glorified pajamas for gods sake.
They did look pretty comfy tho. I imagine the ship's thermostat was either turned way down by Wrath of Khan or the crew spent the later movies sweating in those heavy red jackets. The uniforms sucked except for Kirk's Admiral uniform but the movie itself is glorious.
