What are your controversial Star Trek opinions?

Still referred to as gold and appeared as such on the screen. I understand that the material had a different look but it came across as gold, or green/gold.

Plus it's possible that they chose the green material especially because it would end up looking gold when it was lit by the studio lights and filmed.

From what I understand that happens quite a lot in filming. Costumes sometimes have to be made in a different colour so that they appear to have the "right"(intended) colour on-screen.

This would be controversial with some. I'd have left almost all of these deleted scenes in the movie.

The movie would be improved by them or at the least not made any worse.

I'm watching The Jetsons and seeing what their version of Today is like. Re-watching I should say. I used to watch it when I as a kid.

Let's just say I think people in the 23rd and 24th Century will get a huge kick out of watching Star Trek. "That's what they thought today would be like?!" (We didn't, but that's what they'll think we thought). They'll think about Star Trek, what I think about The Jetsons in the 21st Century. If they even know about Star Trek, they'll laugh at any version we think is "modern".
