What are you wearing?

How big is that creativity cap you wear when you are deciding how to dress for a Trek-related occasion? Be it a Trek Convention or a Halloween Parade or a New Year’s costume ball, etc. Last costume party I went to, I had on my TOS blue shirt, black jeans&shoes, and my com badge (I am very proud of my com badge). To top it off, I took the binoculars out of my black binoculars case and used the case as my beam-me-down-to-the-planet case. I planned to scan with my invisible scanner and save some important readings of the party’s planet atmosphere. What were you wearing last time you dressed up Trek-style?

My one and only adult cosplay experience was one Halloween about 23 years ago, when I dressed as Indiana Jones. As much as I love Trek, I can't ever see myself putting on a Starfleet uniform or dressing up as a Klingon or a Borg, I think I'm just too old for that now.

The time I went as Khan worked out nice. Did a temp dye of my hair silver-white. Found a orange-brown sweater vest like his wore it open to the belly button (double sided tape is your friend), big blocky bracket, dark slacks with a square belt buckle.

And I had the necklace with the "broken" starfleet symbol.
