What Are You Wearing?

At the moment, a Nick & Nora cherry print nightgown with pink collar and cuffs and Isotoner black ballet-style slippers.

Nick and Nora the sock monkeys? Love!

Sage green v-neck cashmere sweater, skinny black jeans black boots.

A couple of different links. One is bound to work...

It is beautiful.
I don't want anyone on me that is more handsome than myself. Wait, that didn't come out good...

Dark blue skinny jeans, stone washed tunic/dress thing (that I got for a great price, but had to make some alterations on because they had only a large left and it was way too big for me -- I think it turned out pretty cute, though),
Nice tunic. I like high-waist dresses and shirts. Here it's called "Imperial waist", since it was the fashion at the time of Napoleon.

Grey dress pants, purple and black checkered dress shirt.
I'm liking this.

Today I gave an evening lecture on quantum physics (one of a series of popular science meetings in my city), so I gave my best impression of an old-fashioned young physics professor: light blue shirt, yellow tie, brown sweater, light brown sport jacket (with elbow patches!), dark blue jeans, brown sneakers, light brown flat cap. Unfortunately no selfie, but I looked like I came out from a documentary on Oxford in the 60s.

Too bad Inguana, I'd love to see that outfit. I like that look a lot on guys, I tried to get my husband to wear it, but it's hard finding that style in his size. (he's 6'6 tall and a slim body, which doesn't correspond with sleeve length for some reason. Size M is good for him, except he needs the sleeves of a size XXL and their still a little short. We saved money so we could get him a jacket and a couple of dress shirts custom made. Which look awesome btw.)

Today I'm wearing dark skinny jeans, grey/pink socks, my beirge/orange vans, a grey long sleeve and a brown checkered shirt with a short sleeve. The shirt is another find in my own wardrobe, I bought it during my early teens (one of my first 'grown up' cloths) and didn't really liked it, but always had it laying around. A couple of years ago I rediscovered it and now I wore it to the point that I should probably throw it away, it's getting washed up. But I like it so much, I can't part from it.

I don't care for my hair today. I need to wash it but since we won't be able to use the bathroom for 2 days I'm washing my hair tonight instead of in the morning.

ps: I'm aware I always hold the camera in front of my cloths, I always forget until I see the photo's on the computer and than I'm too lazy to get a new one. but you get the general idea ;)

^Very cute outfit. Love the shoes, and I'd love to see a better picture of them! I know what you mean about holding the camera in front of you...starting this thread I've realized just how hard it is to take a selfie of your outfit!

Today I'm celebrating the autumnal weather with black harem pants, a grey empire waist top -- same name here, iguana! As an aside, it is an interesting style: it is either extremely flattering or extremely unflattering depending on the garment, and you never know until you try it on whether you'll look slim and cute or pregnant! -- anyway, also have a great green jacket with black leather detailing, and one of my favorite pairs of boots. Yay for the first boot day of the season!

Epic boots are epic. :bolian:

Today, in a neat variation, I have been trying out various new spectacle frames, for new glasses, and chose two that I like. The lenses are being cut and fitted at the moment, although due to my specialist prescription I don't know when they will be ready.

Aside from that, today is a yellow T-shirt day, even though the temperature is 9 deg Celsius. (My trusty hoodie takes the edge off things.) Plus, a new bag or two.

I stole this from the vans webshop:

It's a pair exactly like that. I actually wanted chukka low woman's, but I can't buy those in Europe for reasons unclear to me :( Era's look cool, but chukka low fits better for me. My last pair I wore until they actually fell apart. I miss them. :( But these are cool too! :D

I especially love the top and jacket, they work so nicely together! The boots are lovely, they remind me a little of steam-punk and they look really comfortable! ^^

Black 3-quarter sleeve top with buttons on top, black and white polka dotted skort, black leggings, purple and black sneakers.

I have another seminar later in the week and I will probably wear something similar again (different audience and different venue, so I don't risk a faux pas), I will try to get a decent pic.

Yowza. I wear M sometimes (depending on the fit). If my calculations are correct, 6'6" will make him almost 2 metres, so your M sizes must be quite a lot longer than ours!

Yeah, bespoke garments are usually worth the price.

I love the short-sleeves over long-sleeves combination. But what I can say, I'm a man of the 90s!

Cool. I was not completely sure about that.

No reason why you can't look cute and pregnant! ;) (My partner used a lot of them when she was expecting. I was quite pleased.)

No selfie today (I was just wearing a blue shirt and dark blue jeans, nothing memorable), but I managed to snap a (crappy) pic of my recent glasses (my old ones broke and fell off my face this summer during a seminar-- literally. I had to continue the lesson basically blind as a bat). The white interior side is pretty cool (and not too visually invasive when worn, people can only see a hint of that).

The lenses are also photochromic, which is a nice bonus (and they put them in free as a promotional offer). All in all, I am pretty pleased with them.

^Sweet specs! And I agree, one can definitely look cute and pregnant at the same time...it's just that the pregnancy look isn't really something I generally strive for when I'm not actually pregnant!

Today, navy linen A line skirt, navy tee, brown leather belt and boots. Beautiful leather bracelet given to me by none other than the lovely Bork!. Picture flipped for shirt reading ease. :)

Yeah, I'm in my boxers. Just about to crash into bed, so I'm excused.

Looking good! And I love seeing my halloween name like that  Great to see it's still fitting well and you still like it :)
