What are you watching???

Orange is the New Black S7E11-13 (All done. Season 7 and the ending was almost back to how good it was for the first four seasons. Introducing ICE detention was a good move (for the show that is). Not happy with what they did with Red (and neither was Mulgrew apparently). And, I confess, I never thought the Mountain Dew jingle would bring tears to my eyes…I really will miss Suzanne the most).

The Expanse S3E4-5 (It’s really moving along now. Jules-Pierre Mao is a disgusting human being. So is Errinwright. This is such good science fiction if I’ve ever seen it).

The absolutely over-the-top train disaster sequence toward the end of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. I can't wait to see how they top that in the next movie!

An aborted attempt to watch the movie Lee (stars Kate Winslet as war photographer Lee Miller) on Hulu which kept hanging and spinning no matter the attempts to clear it up. It was not my streaming hardware or the internet connection (other streaming services were working fine) and this has happened before with Disney+/Hulu. Probably not going to renew this service when the time comes. Downdetector showed a big spike in reports of issues for Hulu last night so I’m not alone (for what that’s worth).

The Expanse S3E5 (I got ahead of myself the last post…now we watched E5. I love how there are multiple characters that are the moral/ethical center of this show and not just one. They all remind me of my favorite captain and side kick…which I will not talk about and stop comparing them to ;.)

I've been trying to catch up on some movies lately. In the last couple of days I've seen Brutalist and Anora. I still think my favorite best picture nominee of the ones that I've seen is Wicked.

The Rookie and High Potential both had galas on tonight's episodes. They're both ABC cop shows set in L.A., it should've been the same gala. Just have them in the background of each other's episodes and not bring any attention to it.

I watched the first episode of JAG last night. Eh. Not sure if it's just the pilot or that it's not aged well or if it's not for me. Definite meh, but in case it's just the pilot, I will give it a few more episodes.
