What are you watching?

Do you honestly give a fuck about that stuff?
Nope, but right now it's hilarious to observe that there is nothing else on any channel :rommie:

Really, it's about as interesting as a game of football (i.e. none at all) but it has the same kind of pseudo-news-worthiness!

ETA:
I do love the classic game of "Queens hat" though -and if not for the fun (aka entertainment) of their people what do we have royalty for?

Damn, trekkiedane. Five posts in a row?

Last night, I watched Justified and HIMYM.

God, I am LOVING Justified.

Right now, not watching much of anything. Daytime TV sucks.

trekkiedane, while the Royal Baptism is very interesting-- well, no, not really-- please use the edit feature rather than posting five times in a row. ;)

Let's see. This week I watched the finale of Being Human and tonight I will tape Vampire Diaries and Bones.

Watched some of the short-lived "Ultraviolet" tv series---the one about vampires being "virus carriers" in London. A bit slow, but hubby thinks it's awesome.

Idris Elba is in it, too, and after seeing Luther, I just adore the man.

Continuing with watching season 3 (ep 12) of BSG over tonight's rugby league. Just not in the mood for rugby league at the moment.

I'm trying to figure out how I've never seen this thread before.

Netflix Mail: Disc 1 of Alias Season 3.
Netflix Streaming: Numb3rs Season 2.

Hulu weekly: Chuck, Castle, Dancing with the Stars, Glee, Raising Hope, The Office, Bones, Fairly Legal, White Collar, Who Do You Think You Are?

Hulu Plus archives: Journeyman, Dancing with the Stars Season 6

[Sakrysta]^You sure seem to have had a busy night

There is still one episode of VOY that I haven't seen....
There might be more I haven't seen...

A Subway Named Moebius is a 1950 short story by A. J. Deutsch about a subway train *disappearing* from the closed system of the Boston subway¹.

In 1996 (or '97, the on-line sources don't agree) it apparently was made into an Argentinian film, Moebius, and the train that vanishes, does so from the Buenos Aires subway system.

I'm about a third into the film right now and I luv it; it's gritty like a real-life subway behind the scenes and filled with beautiful images of run down, dirty and dusty places -the city archives, where the original blue-prints of the subway system are stored, is a spectacular scene -all three minutes of it!

The principles of connectivity state that as a system makes more connections to other parts of itself, the connectivity of that system increases in an exponential fashion to staggering levels. The subway under Boston had been growing in complexity for years. It was so complex, in fact, that the best mathematicians could not calculate its connectivity.

Then the first train disappeared. The system was closed, so it couldn't have gone anywhere, but when all the trains were pulled, they still couldn't find it. The searchers would see a red light, wait curiously, and hear a train passing in the distance, sometimes so close that it appeared to be just around the next bend. Where was the train? What happened to the passengers? Professor Tudor has a theory.

It was the one about the space elevator. I'm pretty sure I've seen all others.

Sweet. I'm going to see if I can track down the story.
I'll bet Charlie was on it.
