Doctor Who - The Claws of Axos
Finally I get to see the classic series in DVD quality, which is great. The serial itself is hilariously bad, especially the nonsense science, a hallmark of Who anyway, but they seem to outdo themselves here. It has taken up speed and coherence in the thrid episode, though, so hopefully I won't regret making this the first classic Who DVD I ever bought.

Just watched "The Muppets Christmas Carol". And, yes, I do realize it's not the right season for it, but I'm in a Muppet craze right now (watching the show and most of the movies for the first time), and this one was due. Gotta say, the new voice for Kermit and the other characters previously voiced by Jim Henson seemed a bit off, but that was to be expected. And as a big fan of Dickens's story, I gotta say that this is a better Muppet movie than a CC adaption. For the latter, the version with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge remains my favorite.
