What are you reading?

My condolences as well Trekkie.

currently reading Game of Thrones "Clash of Kings". Have been waiting so as to not get ahead of the TV series.

Re-reading "The Big Sleep" by Raymond Chandler to get myself ready for the first reading of the rest of his Philip Marlowe series.

Reading The Storm by Clive Cussler, which I will likely finish on the plane tomorrow on my business trip. I need to find something else for the rest of the trip, and nothing on my shelf right now is speaking to me.

I'm nearly done with the second Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh/Eugenics Wars book, then it's on to Why Grizzly Bears Should Wear Underpants by The Oatmeal, which my husband bought for me (he also bought candy, I'm not sure yet what he's done wrong but I'll find out). I do need to get crocheting all the Christmas gifts I need, so maybe I'll just be reading patterns for a while.

I just can't concentrate on reading... and the TV isn't any better.

Thanks guys.

You have my sympathies too. I still remember when my mom died. I went through the same thing you are. It was ten years ago, but that's the kind of thing you NEVER forget, plus, we were particularly close. It will get easier to live with though, so hang in there.

And OT: I'm currently reading the paperback of Christopher's ONLY SUPERHUMAN, as well as Dayton Wards' Star Trek book FROM HISTORY'S SHADOW.

Both excellent reads.

I enjoyed going back to books and shows my dad liked after he died. I re-watched 'Yankee-Doodle Dandy', one of his favorites, it was like having him back a little. I hope things feel better soon.

^Recently I've been playing more CCR than I usually do. :p

Thanks everyone.

Well... after watching the first run of Star Trek in these parts, back in the day, dad went the way of fantasy and I choose the path of SciFi... but we'll always have Trek :)

Haven't read anything since my last post.

I'm reading the Chet and Bernie series by Spencer Quinn. Lighthearted mystery books about a PI and his canine partner, as told by the dog.

I'm reading Thunder of Heaven (an End of Days book) by Tim Lahaye. :) It's the second book in the series. I have the first three and the fourth book on pre-order.

I finished Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman a couple of days ago and I have started on The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde.
