What are you doing at this moment?

I put a pound of dry pinto beans in a pot of water yesterday, to soak. Will now drain out the water and add some garden fresh tomatoes, red habanero, jumbo jalapeño and Sierra Nevada Chileno peppers to the mix from the Ninja. Then add cumin, garlic a little salt and boil on the stove for about 4 hours.

Was at Target looking for a wired mouse. Website said they had lots but I wasn't seeing one. Turns out they were all in the wrong place. Perhaps no one was buying them because you had them under the price sign that was twice their actual cost. So I grabbed one and also moved them all to the correct spot.

Started irrigating this afternoon and completed it this evening. I also strapped my lawn mower to the trailer, and hitched the trailer to the pickup truck. I drive to another town 25 miles away to mow an acre of lawn. My cell phone was missing from my pocket, I figured it fell out of my pocket when I moved the lawn mower. I waited until 9:35 pm when my reminder alarm on my cell started playing a Doobie Brothers song. It's good I picked a 4-minute song. I found the phone, still playing, between the lawn mower seat and the frame of the lawn mower.

While on YouTube, came across a missing persons channel. But nope, it's an "unexplained phenomenon" missing persons channel, with an emphasis on UFO abductions. And the guy leaves out important details in order to further this UFO narrative (like leaving out the part about a body being recovered). Basically just another grifter who had to shift gears after bigfoot was no longer profitable for him.

Sitting at my local Watering Hole, people-watching and people-listening…one of my favorite leisure activities.

Instructive, Insane and (sometimes) Ibuprofen!

Just finished going through a crap-load of old paper, including mail. Most of it was from charities... that's the problem with charity organizations; they send you mass mailings. Wonder if there's a way to make them think you're homeless.

This is the time of year I put them in the burn box. I use the burn box paper to light the logs in the wood stove.
