I got the two leaks fixed, in one the pipe sheered off, the other leak was insufficient glue at one of three places in a tee connection. It wasn't 106F, it was 108F. Made it like fixing leaks in a sauna.

Recycling still hasn't gotten picked up today, so every time I'm done using something I keep going out there to add it to the bin. Fed cat, took tin out to recycling bin. Package delivered, immediately opened it so I could throw the box in the recycling bin. Drank a beverage, took can out to the recycling bin.

Repaired a broken concrete 12 inch diameter irrigation pipe that feeds my property, a part of the pipeline runs through an almond farmer's property, and one of his employees hit it with a tractor, when he drove the tractor over the easement.

I also set up my appointment for a COVID booster shot at my local CVS for Friday afternoon. I have been around two other people that called me saying they tested positive for COVID after they felt sick, and I was with them when they were able to spread the virus, and not yet feeling its effects. It has been 4 months since my last booster, and I haven't felt sick with COVID yet. I'll put up with a couple of days of a sore arm, rather than the alternative.

Thanks, I don't feel all that bad - this is my first time having it and I have kept up to date on all of my vaccinations, so I should be fine soon. Apparently a number of my co-workers have come down with it as well, so it's a scramble for everyone else to cover.

Just got home from eating breakfast with my best friend at a First Watch restaurant.

Now I'm waiting for a delivery of a new carry-on luggage from Amazon (they are already a day late ). The airlines shrank the size limits for carry-ons and my old carry-on is now too big by ~1.5 inches in one dimension . I need it by this Friday or I'll have to use my old luggage and check it (for an additional $60 fee); bastards.
