What are you doing at this moment?

The temperature outside has dropped below 90F, so it is time to pick some lemons and grapefruit to squeeze. Also, one variety of plums is ripe, so I will pick some to have for dessert with my evening meal.

Checking my blood sugar. Hmm....my CGM says 93 and slowly falling. My regular meter says 134. Neither is actually bad, but that's quite a difference. I just applied a new CGM, so it is probably still syncing up. I'll check again in another hour or so. Exciting diabetic times.

I unplugged a soldering iron from the same power strip my computer was plugged in. It caused my PC and 2 TB HDD to have problems. It wasn't finding the boot menu, and locked up. I shut it down and put in a back up drive from last month, put the original drive in an external disk caddy, and spent the last 4 hours running CHKDSK /f/r on the four partitions of my original OS drive. It found no problems, I put the original drive back in, and the computer booted up after I selected "Normal Startup." I formatted and partitioned a new 2TB HDD. Now I am cleaning up the OS drive to perform another backup with the new HDD in the external disk caddy.

Sorry. I too have been having computer woes. It's funny, I don't remember having this much trouble back in the day, but we are supposedly more advanced with them. Hm.

Not to worry. I spent 4 hours in the house with the AC on, instead of outside, where it was over 100 F. Went to the vegetable garden, since the temperature dropped to the low 90s and pulled weeds during the 40 minutes of cloning. I have the OS drive cloned to the new one now. My June computer backup has been done 3 days early.

Listening to my teeth scream, as I process the huge increase in fast food prices…I don’t have a running awareness, and it has been a minute…”dinner” for two at Culver's…??? Almost $40…withOUT any desserts…
:eek: :thumbdown::confused:

I can come in under 10 for fast food, if I'm careful. But then, I'm alone.
