After reading about Magnus Carlsen I've got back in to chess and finally won a game yesterday against a bot with a rating of 1100 after starting the game on Monday. I kept the tab open on my computer and spent hours over each move to make sure I didn't blunder. Going out now to buy a chess set and see if I can find any chess books at charity shops. This time next year I'll be a grandmaster.

We loved How It's Made when the kids were younger! I was always amazed by something that I hadn't known before in every show.

I am watching the snow fall because we are under a winter storm warning. *sigh* I could do without, though.
