I love The Muppet Show! We have the first three seasons on DVD, but we're watching season four on Disney+ right now. I haven't seen these episodes since I was a child. I'm very happy.

I am comforting my scaredy-dog because we're dealing with a thunderstorm. He hates thunder.

Feeling a bit guilty about cancelling the second baseball trip to Kansas City I was supposed to make tomorrow.

I mean, in this day and age, we're told - lectured, even - that it's always a good thing to take risks. But I have never been particularly fond of doing so. And in this case, I considered it justified, since there's supposed to be storms in KC this weekend, and I didn't want to drive three and a half fucking hours just to sit in my hotel room and do nothing.

Still feel like I let myself down a bit though.

Oh well, I did see two games this week (just got back last night) and had a good time. So it's not a total loss.

Remember that second trip to KC I had to cancel? Because of the THUNDERSTORMS that were supposed to hit KC right about now? The storms that were RIGHT IN THE FUCKING WEATHER FORECASTS? And so I figured, why risk driving three and a half hours for games that are probably going to be postponed, and then having to sit around in my hotel room doing nothing?

Well, those storms NEVER FUCKING CAME. The games I was supposed to see in KC are going on right now. So I stayed home for fucking NOTHING! I WASTED a perfectly good trip!

So much for extreme fucking caution, eh? I tried that, and look what it fucking got me. Not that I am bitter or anything.

Silly me, actually using weather forecasts to plan a weekend, huh? What the fuck was I thinking?
