lunch break. With minor difficulties, though: I had a root canal surgery 2 weeks ago and the tooth has to be reopened every few days to apply new antibiotics. Yesterday, the freshly made provisorical filling fell out so that I had 2 dentist sessions in a day. This morning the tooth was a bit grumpy (presumably it didn't like being opened twice) and though it almost stopped hurting now I am hesitant to eat something, for fear it might get worse again. But I had only a few cookies all day and really need something more substantial now.
At any rate: tonight there'll be chicken soup with alphabet noodles. My tooth has deserved a lazy evening

I am almost finished with the foundation trilogy (the initial trilogy) read by Scott Brick (for the people in the know, this is a real treat, he's collected countless awards for the quality of his reading).
