Have you ever had frangipane kingcake? I love it. Unfortunately, we can only have it from the end of December until most of January, IE for one month and nada for the rest of the year. I guess if I asked my baker nicely he could make an exception but it's likely to cost more than the price we pay it in January. I guess it wouldn't taste that good if I could have it anytime I want so maybe it's for the best. Same thing for oysters, I eat tons of them during the winter holidays and almost never during the rest of the year. I think I like it this way! Life is good after all.
