Trying to overcome my fear of that red "Record" button in one of my audio productions programs.

I hate microphones. Ironic, because I love talking on the phone. I just hate the thought of being recorded or publicly broadcast. One-on-one is great. Being on speaker phone is nervewracking for me.

Lounging on the sofa, basking in the warm sunlight streaming in through the window, and watching the shadows of flying insects dance across my legs.

I’ve just put my tools away for the day and sat down with a nice cold lager and lime. In a bit I’ll make a start on roast dinner.

Lying on the bed in my "nice" clothes, at Mom's house, because we're not going out to dinner until 5. Hubby and I are dressed and ready to go but we now have 1 hr. & 30 minutes to kill, and can't get our good clothes messed up. We are in the guest room, lying on the bed, both reading our tablets.

Having a Sunday morning coffee, even though it’s Monday. I’ve heard torrential rain is on the way, so while the sun beams brighten the room through closed curtains, and bird song fills the air, I plan to savour every moment of the unseasonally clement weather.
