What are you doing at this moment?

Just climbed out of my bath tub. Relaxing on my couch now. Waiting for the next Trek episode to be shown.

Haven’t seen the DS9 one, and have a vague memory of distant origins, though it might not be my memory if I read the review Star Trek magazine. I really need to reconnect with the 2nd generation series.

Getting ready to pick my mom up for an appointment.

Dealing with my broken (shattered, crumbling) foot.

It's great that my doctor allowed me to continue driving so I could assist my mom, but I'm not sure any of this is helping my foot in the long run.

Cooking hotdogs and pasta with garlic bread. Waiting for pain killers to do their magic. Listening to the boy practicing guitar, and eyeing up that bottle of wine.

^^ Eh, I get my caffeine in pill form.

If I could get true Jetsons meals in pills I'd be a very, very happy person. I eat junk for pleasure. I eat [what little] nutrition [I get] to survive. Cooking is a chore I'd rather do without.

I love cooking, and eating, unless I’m very ill. Right now I’m stood by the hob cooking hard boiled eggs, it’s all I can face right now. And I’ve taken five types of medication today already.

I kind of like hard boiled eggs - much to hubby's disgust. I have this recipe called 'Nun's Toast' and I'm the only one I know who eats it. It's like a white sauce or rather an onion sauce with a couple of boiled eggs folded and quartered in it and put on hot buttered toast with lots of salt and pepper. God help me but parsley too.

Damn I like soft and hard boiled eggs!! Scotch eggs - oh man

It’s crazy, I only just started to enjoy eggs. I’d eat eggs, but never saw the point of them. Now I can’t get enough.

I’ll be trying that nuns toast at the weekend. Already search some recipes.

The one egg recipe I did always like is eggikins. Basically a ramekin lined with ham, then stuffed with cheese, more ham, and a couple of eggs cracked in to it, and then topped with more cheese and ham. In the oven for 10-15 minutes. Beautiful.

Mmmm...eggs. Scrambled, well-fried (I hate runny eggs!), omelets, and salty hard-boiled. I adore Deviled Eggs, too.

But...I can't eat eggs on an empty stomach. I tend to get nauseated if I do unless there is plenty of starch to go along with them (mmm...crispy hash browns!).

Listening to my formerly favorite son telling "jokes". It seems that his friend just got a great new job in advertising for a department store. His job is to take pictures of fish wearing the clothes. It's like..... ...shooting fish in apparel.

Yup, time to disown!

^^ The series wasn't shot here, of course, but I love watching the intro to Mary Tyler Moore.

The only movie I've ever seen that I know of that was shot here was Fargo. Other than that, there have been a bunch, but I haven't seen any of them, even MST3000 (the movie--I've seen episodes of the show and been in their studio when it existed).

Fargo the movie or Fargo the series?

I managed to get a great picture of the filming helicopter when they were filming above the water. We keep looking out for our car in the aerial shots, no luck so far.

The movie. I'm not sure where the studio shots were filmed, but a lot of exteriors were in the Twin Cities where I live.

I watched part of the filming for Feeling Minnesota. There was an insert explosion. A small shack or shed that pretty much vaporized once it went up. Apparently, not all of the police were told about the impending explosion as a couple of minutes after it happened a police car raced by us with its lights flashing and sirens blaring. A few minutes later it slowly drove by again, going the other direction. He says out of his window to the group of people standing there (first clue!), "They're shooting a movie down there!" I think I was the only one that hollered back, "You didn't know that?!?" and laughed. :snicker:
