Studying the script for a stage play I'm in. Our performance is next week, our last rehearsal is in half an hour, and nobody but me is making any effort to memorise the godforsaken script.

I believe convention requires me to say "break a leg". Although I'm not really clear on how something that sounds like a wish for bodily harm actually came to mean a wish for good fortune...
Best wishes for the surgery tomorrow, I hope everything goes smoothly. And I'm sure they've already warned you about this, but there will be a lot of eye drops afterwards, too.

As for what I'm doing right now, getting increasingly frustrated over one of the spikes on my jacket that keeps falling off, stressing about the play, going over my lines in my head, and sitting in a corner on my computer because I'm a LOSER (joke)!!!
Woke up with a massive coughing fit because 1) I have a bad cough, and 2) my mouth was completely dry. Weird part was that during the heat of the moment, my brain somehow conflated my coughing with the upcoming TV schedule for some reason that was never made clear. Is my cough on Ch. 11 but if I switch to Ch. 12 it goes away? Will everyone watching Ch. 7 hear my coughing and have their shows ruined? Just a random thing for my brain to come up with during the 1-2 seconds of being woken up against my will.
Trying to power through the last couple things I have to do for this goddamned typing class that the school is making me take. I already know how to type. This is infuriating.

Looking at pictures of mom during previous Thanksgivings. She loved the holidays.
It went... okay. Nobody forgot any lines and people laughed at the funny bits so I'll tenatively consider this show a success.
I also FINALLY finished with this.
