I have watched all of the trek series and i admit that enterprise is no 5, voyager is no 4 and ds9, tos and tng are equally no 1. They all have their good parts. I am interested to hear what all of you fellow trekkies think. All of them have their strengths and weaknessess.
What are the best trek series and why? Be objective.

Don't know how objective I can be, but...
The best Trek series IMO are TOS and DS9. Unlike TNG and VOY which gave us perfect people in a perfect world devoid of most conflict, TOS/DS9 gave us people who aspired to be better and worked hard to make their world a better place. Sometimes they accomplished their goals, sometimes they didn't, but they always kept up the effort.

Good choices. Yes quite right. To a certain extent tos was a figure of its time, whereas ds9 did not mind exploring a lack of morality in parts during a time of trek where by and large there was meant to be fluffy clouds and utopia to a point.

There's no way any one can come up with objective reasons why something is their favorite. It is all completely subjective, based on a lot of criteria. Dependent on the time they saw it in their lives, their personal likes and dislikes, their personal social views.

Objectively, I know that VOY isn't as good as DS9 or even TNG, but I love it. I love it for very personal, non-objective reasons. But I also love all 24th century Trek for various reasons.
Um. Yes there is an easy way to be objective. Look at the series with a non biased view. My fave is tng but the tos and ds9 are equally as good despite my view. Its not that hard
You can't. Biases aren't just conscious, they seep into your subconscious as well.
I think The Orville is a better TV series than Discovery. But anything I put out there as reasons, are going to be based on my view of the world and my experiences.

As soon as you use words like "best" and "favorite," you're not being objective. This is an inherently subjective, opinion-based question. Which is fine! Just asking for an objective analysis of besties is not possible.

I don't think anyone is insulting you. Just pointing out that we can give you our subjective opinions on what we like best, but asking what is the Objectively Best Star Trek Series isn't a thing that exists.
