I have been watching TNG on and off for 20 years, I figured I'd seen them all two-five times.

Ir is a rare treat to feel like I have only seen an episode once or twice and.... I am going through the DVDS of TNG with Netflix.....

and I finally found an episode I hadn't seen!

"The Chase"

Wow and I am loving it too, it's probably going to be one of all time favorites.

There's nothing like "new" good TREK! :)

I know exactly what you mean! Imagine my absolute shock and amazement when Spike aired an episode that I apparently never saw before. It was The Enemy where Geordi is trapped on Galorndon Core with a Romulan.

I've still not seen The Schizoid Man and The Outrangeous Okona. From what I hear, they aren't exactly on the same level as The Enemy or The Chase, but it's some new TNG for a rainy day.

Wow! Never seen The Chase, eh? That's a fantastic episode. You got lucky that it wasn't Justice or some other medicore ep.

I remember the final episode of TNG I saw that was new was Face of the Enemy. I finally saw that show, and was like wow why did I miss this episode all these years. Not only does it continue an arc of reunification kinda that shouldn't have ended it, but it's the best Troi episode of the series and I didn't even like Troi. It was so awesome on a show that I've seen all the episodes like 10 times to discover an episode for the first time all over again. I actually consider it now one of my 10 favorite episodes I think, or at least top 20.

I envy anyone watching TNG or any trek for the first time. Enjoy it while it lasts. You only get to really experience something once.

Better make that a serious snowed-in blizzard day. ;)

Then again, I've only seen about 5 minutes of Sub Rosa, so I should consider myself fortunate.

I remember watching TNG as the DVD sets where coming out and being surprised when I ran into an episode I had never seen before, Transfigurations.

I know that feeling. I'm rewatching ENT right now and stumbled across "Rogue Planet".
I must have watched that five years ago but I couldn't remember it at all.

There are a couple of TNG episodes I've never seen, all having Troi's mother in them. I've sort of deliberately missed those. :p

The only TNG ep I haven't seen all the way through is The High ground, the BBC apparently didn't air it due to tensions with the IRA at the time and have never shown it. Being from Yorkshire I have yet to shell out for the DVDs and so I've only seen bits on the internet, though I hear it's not all that great anyway.

^ IRA references aside, It suffers from having a rather romantic view of terrorism. Given that the IRA were periodically bombing the UK and Northern Ireland at the time, I think the ban was fair enough.

Its not a great episode either.

I've still got a few DS9's to watch, I still haven't watched "Duet" and apparently it's one of the top eps of the series.

The last new episode of TNG I saw was "All Good Things..." on May 23, 1994.
