Yeah...but then again? Some TNG/TOS fans look at DS9 fans with an air of...you know...arrogance!!! We NINERS have always been JAN to their GREG and Marsha Marsha Marsha!!!

Really? I wasn't aware of that at all.
For me, DS9 was always a self-evident part of Star Trek, a little bit darker or cutting-edge than TNG perhaps, but, well, that's life and only realistic, given the environment and timeframe DS9 was set...

I was. I never gave it a shot until one day a friend told me I should. And I loved (still do) sci-fi more than anything else too! Not all sci-fi is good sci-fi though, so back then I wasn't sure if Trek was my cup of tea.

I was an outsider, but in a different way. As a Trek fan, I was made fun of by my family. Then I met my best friend who was a fellow Trek fan. It helped that we were also both top of our class in high school (and also secret boyfriends).

nope. star trek came into my life and, overnight, took me over. I've been a Trekkie ever since. never needed to be convinced.
