Well THAT would be refreshing for XII!

Kirk: "Spock... they're bent on... waste extraction?!"
Million voices of Borg: (over comm) "Resistance is futile!"

.

I just watched "The Ulimate Computer" from season 2 and thought that might be an intriguing idea to revisit since computers were still pretty new in the 60s and now computers pretty much are life. I really like the character of Dr. Downstrom (sp? I'm really tired) and think that could make for an interesting villian. Since they mention he won a Nobel prize at 24 but then could never re-capture that glory, it'd be intriguing to me to see in this timeline, the crew of the Enterprise meeting him at his much younger age.

I like that they are at least looking in to see what the general feeling is though I am sure they will go with their own ideas.

Gay Klingons? :klingon:
I can totally see this.

In fact, given Klingon culture's respect for strength and battle prowess, I strongly suspect it's acceptable --- even honourable --- for a gay Klingon warrior to challenge another Klingon warrior to a fight for sex. Klingon stereotypes about homosexuality are probably very different from human ones.

It would be a good idea to use the avatar technology for the klingons whenever they do the rebooted klingons. Make them about 8-10 feettall and brawny. Make them more savage...like pit-bulls. (Keep the ridge foreheads of course) Give the Bird of Prey Talons so it can rip into starships. I think that would be visually stunning to see if the boys and girls at industral light and magic could pull that off. Well of course they can. Human sided klingons never really appealled to me...eventhough i do love the characters.
