Years ago, when wiki was still somewhat in it's infancy I made quite a few edits and contributions on it, along with several graphics, images, and diagrams. Out of boredom and curiosity I did a search for one of the images I made.

It's smaller than the image I originally made for wiki, but it's the same. Kind of neat that it appears on the discover magazine website, along with several other sites as well.

Thanks, I was thinking it wouldn't be on the wiki site anymore, that's where I originally looked. Then did a search for images on the wiki site, and it was there. So then used google to find more, and also the tineye image search. When I made I didn't think much of it.

But seeing that it's been used on a couple of web sites as a reference/example image surprised me. Hell, now I've got start up the computer I used to make diagrams for wiki and see what else I can find.

Yep. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words....and apparently your diagram made sense of these concepts to a lot of people. I am kinda surprised that no one ever contacted you for permission though....I thought Wikipedia tracked that stuff....
