Well, I'm glad I already can;t stand Danny Dyer

Overexposure to his "look how hard I am cos I appear in no-budget UK gangster movies" persona in billions of ads for his shows on Bravo already made me loathe the sight of him, even though I always thought well, I can't say "I hate that guy" as he's probably a nice enough bloke outside his screen persona of being a wannabe-hardman, but the ads have put me off ever watching his stuff."

But, well, actually I can:

"Cut your ex's face and nobody else will want her."

He claims he's misquoted, but still, a mind-buggeringly daft thing to say.

My wife Lesley, and several other women I've known, have been victims of domestic violence with previous guys, so none of them will be impressed, and the issue *is* one of those that pushes my buttons...

He's a total tool. I already thought so and this confirms it beyond reasonable (or all) doubt.

Did you see the clip where he got walloped in the face when doing one of those 'Danny Dyer meets the hardest men' or some such shite. I saw it on Charlie Brooker's You Have Been Watching. The guy nearly broke his jaw! Charlie reckoned he wished the guy had been holding a bicycle chain. Apparently poor little Danny was awfully hurt by this and bemoaned it in his next column. Thus confirming that guys like this can dish it out but not take it.

One good thing is that apparently the writer of the original letter has said that he thought the reply was in very bad taste; at least he wasn't the sort of psychotic Neandarthal who might have taken it seriously (cos let's face it, they're out there).

Really, why does anyone think that anything Danny Dyer says or "writes" could have any merit?

Anyway, it seems that Zoo has just dispensed with his "services".

The comment that the late Linda Smith made about Jeffrey Archer also seems appropriate to Dyer:

Clive Anderson: "Don't give him the oxygen of publicity."
Linda Smith: "I'm not that happy with him having the oxygen of oxygen actually."

^ It's one thing to expect anything from this cretin to have merit. It's another thing entirely for him to come out with what is almost an incitment to commit GBH.

Seen a film or two of his besides the adverts mentioned. I wouldn't bother watching any of them again or going to see any more.

It's not even the first time he's done it. In a previous column he had a letter from a guy complaining about his partner's pubic hair, and his advice was that he should set her on fire.

Class act.

Mud sticks. Dire claims he was miss quoted and in truth he probably had the piece ghost written for him and then subbed by the guys at the mag to make it sound worse. I don't excuse the comments of course they are disgusting.
