Everybody's a comedian.

;)

Of course, now you are officially "on my list". :p
Aww, I figured I'd been on your list for quite some time now! :p

Course, that's kinda sick between brother & sister, no?

HEY EVERYBODY!!

It's been a long time since we've done avatar tributes to upcoming movies. So how bout it? There are plenty of good ones coming out soon, so there ought to be some good avs to be had.

I'm thinking I'll find a way to manipulate my Klingon Chef av, like someone did with their O'Brien av (I'm ashamed I can't remember who that was :o). Or I may just bring in an av from the movie. I have Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Apr 29) & Sin City (Apr 1) already ready. Who's with me!! :D

If someone will help me with an avatar, I'll use it for whichever movie releases you guys wanna do.

It's been too long since we've done a Niner avatar tribute, IMO.

That was our beloved Monty. Where is he these days anyway? :)
And yeah, I'm definately looking forward to the HHGTTG and I am absolutely dieing to see Sin City. That movie looks so fucking (excuse my french) good. :D Now that you mention in, I think I'm gonna make myself a Sin City based.
Anyone else want one? Vash? Which of the lads from Sin City do you fancy the most? There's Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke, Elijah Wood, Benicio Del Toro, Michael Clarke Duncan, Josh Hartnett, Michael Madsen... Man this movie has a great cast. :)

And yeah, we need to do a DS9 av theme at some point. :)

EDIT: I jus made myself a Sin City themed av. Whatcha guys think? :)

^ Oh! Very cool avatar, BigFoot!!!

I've not seen the film or any previews, so I don't know what to do with an avatar.

I'll leave it to you guys. But you know what I like: Hot Men. :p

Well, there's a STEAMIN pot full of hot men in Sin City. OK, maybe not. Then again, I don't know; I don't make those kinds of judgement calls, remember :p

How bout Josh Hartnett? He plays "the salesman" in a scene that director Rodriguez created to show to Frank Miller (the comics' creator) to get him on board for the movie. Here's one pic I did real quick:

Or have at it, Big Foot - COOL av by the way!

I had Ford Prefect from HHGTTG, but I'll change to the delicious Gail from Sin City

Thanks, I was hoping people would like the av. :D I like your av aswell. It's very... fitting. ;)

Anyway... I can come up with something for you Vash. Or you can use kev's av, whatever floats your boat. :)

I think it's gonna be a crazy movie. And loads of dark fun  I skimmed through one of the Sin City graphic novels (Hell & Back) probably a couple of years ago, but I never really got into the series. Now I can't find a store with it in stock. Yep, this movie's gonna get some good play!

Vash you should check this out. This will probably ignite comic movies in a new way that hasn't been seen since Blade. [edit] OK, maybe I'm being overexcited and it'll just attract a few excited comic fans. But it's got my full attention :D

BigFoot, I think I've asked you this before, but what program do you use to make your animated avs?

^ I use the Adobe Photoshop CS suite (I use Imageready for the most part). :)

And yeah, I am absolutely dieing to see Sin City. It looks so friggin good. I can't remember the last time I was looking forward to a movie this much (the next time will probably when Serenity comes out, though Batman Begins looks awesome too).

Yeah, FORM FITTING

Thanks for the software info. I recently got Adobe Photoshop, so I'll have to start giving it a try.

I'm definitely looking forward to some movies this year, much more than I was in 2004. There's Serenity, HHGTTG, Batman Begins, Sin City, heck, even Star Wars:ROTS, though that's a lot lower on the totem pole ;) I'm sure there are others I've forgotten for the moment, but this should be one fun year to go to the movies.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to all of those movies. Even ROTS (not as much as the others though). I'm hoping it'll be at least a decent movie. :)

Good Afternoon and a Good Friday all,

In case anyone was wondering why I didn't post much this week (Anyone anyone? ;) ), this week was my Spring Break and I spent a few days up in Reno Nevada. This was my last chance to go skiing for the season, so I wanted to take advantage of it. The first day skiing was great, but the second day at Squaw Valley was the most whitest and most blizzardy I have ever seen that resort. I've been skiing up there for like 4 or 5 years, but I have never seen a storm like the one they had on Wednesday. I got back from Reno last night, and today I went to Good Friday Services at my church. My church always puts on a great service like this every year, so that was my highlight for the day.

I'm looking foward to part one of BSG's (I noticed we got a new forum for that now, cool) finale, but I still have last weeks episode I need to watch. I'll manage to get them all in tonight though.

Anyway it's good to be back home, and back in the DS9 forum after a short break. I can't believe Spring Break is almost over. To me it seemed like it just started. :(
