What are the weirdest Christmas themed movies you have seen?

Off the top of my head the only one that stands out for me is Santa Clause conquers the martians. I saw it once a long, long time ago.

On TV right now is "A Christmas Karen"

I also saw Santa Claus Conquers the Martians many years ago. It was bad.
I don’t tend to look at Christmas movies nowadays.

Watching Yogi's first Christmas, and I'm remembering what I know about Hibernation. The first bear to wake up starts eating the other bears in the cave who are sleeping through being eaten.

Yogi ate Booboo, or Booboo ate Yogi?

They have the same surname.

Married or brothers?

Cindy Bear also has the same name.

Sibling or parent?

The Wife doesn't know Snagglepuss.

Asked if he was Gay.

Source? Google's not coming up with anything

They're cartoon animals. For some reason their surname is their species.
Mickey Mouse Minnie Mouse
Bugs Bunny Babs Bunny
Donald Duck Daisy Duck
Porky Pig Petunia Pig

It's just like game of thrones.

I guess a bear waking up hungry enough to eat their children is just an urban legend I fell for in the 80s.

Although Google just told me that one specific bear woke up recently and ate 38 reign deer (in a month) .

Skimming through a Carpenter's Christmas Special. The 70s pop brother and sister pop duo through an all dancing all singing Christmas party in a lodge.

Karen says "My Christmas gift for everyone is cooking! Food brings everyone together!"

Weird.

As weird and crazy as Santa Claus Conquers The Martians is, it has the benefit of at least acknowledging itself as a comedy. On the flip side, the somewhat infamous Mexican Santa Claus (1959) is just plain bizarre, in no small part due to the Santa mythology being less common in Mexico and South American than other regions. This Santa lives on a space station with a horde of apparently stolen kids, and his main opponent is a minion of Satan. Among other strangeness. :D

Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny makes even less sense with a nonexistent budget (they didn't bother to film actual dialogue and instead dubbed all of the audio, very poorly), and the bunny doesn't even have any ice cream.

I saw this film in the early 80's = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Christmas_(1974_film) it really freaked me out as it was the time I was living in my fraternity house. I probably saw it at my frat house too... very scary --- they did two remakes but I know nothing about them.. the wiki says it has become "one of the greatest horror films ever made." it is scary -

Santa Claus The Movie is a rather strange movie, if you think about it. I remember going to the theatre to see it in the 80's, but there were a lot of weird and terrifying aspects about it and I don't think it's a movie that has aged particularly well.

No, this was way before that. It was a movie starring John Lithgow and Dudley Moore. The Santa Clause movies were fairly tame in comparison. This particular movie though, I found that there were scary parts due to the way it was produced. It's sometimes hard to know how something will impact kids.

Oh that one.. Yeah I can see how that might be scary, but the Tim Allen one thinking about it recently and there's some dark implications like someone has to "become Santa" like the persona is like some kind of parasite that takes a host and such.

Well, if you want weird, there's always "Bad Santa"... maybe "Home Alone" but that one's too smurfy by comparison.

In fact, the usual clip show site manages to bring up the edited highlights:

Now, I can't think of a Christmas-themed movie that gets any weirder. Props to those who can one-up that. (Disclaimer, the clip assortment contains some foul language and stuff, but it hasn't got any more foul language than some episodes of modern Trek...)
