Re: Wednesday (6/3) Box Office - Star Trek #4 - $1.3 million - $213 mi

NO. DAMN. I WAS NOT BEING SERIOUS!

GAH!

I'm 26, but this woman in this shop thought I was sixteen and wouldn't sell me any wine, and I didn't have an id on me.

Yikes.

don't be upset. you've given me the biggest belly laugh I've had in a week!

Great. Everyone, do you want a copy of my passport?

I can prove I'm not 16, unless I've been sixteen for ten years now.

Stop it. :D

I'm not upset. Story of my life though. :p

I'm 29 and got carded for cigs up until the time I stopped smoking a couple of years ago. I used to hate getting thought of as a minor, but the older I get the more appealing it is.

isnt that the truth. I hate when I go up to the counter with a gallon of captain Morgan and they dont even bother to look at me...I just look like some old codger out for my fix...yikes!!!

I don't mind anymore. It's a little annoying, but women younger than I am have had their first botox injections. :D

And yes, I went to see TPM 9 times at the cinema when I was 16. My then-boyfriend, a (then) 23-year-old, was a fan. You'll have to excuse me, I was going through a strange phase back then. I own a Backstreet Boys record to prove it.

I got carded the week of my 30th birthday; now that was a birthday present. The two fellows I was with at the time -- both four years younger than I -- did not. But unfortunately, time has been making up for it ever since. It's kind of like in "Miri."

I'm good for another three years, I think. After that, I'll turn 18.

I'll be 33 in a couple of weeks, and when I went on vacation over the Memorial Day weekend, the guy at the car rental place asked if I was sure I was old enough to drive. That one was a bit over the top, but it's nice to get the occassional comment that you look a lot younger than you really are.

I'm in my late 20s now (*cries*) but people often think I'm early to mid 20s, so I'm happy with that. That said, I have many Asian friends near my age and they all look very young lol.

Go with Sailor Jerry's. It won't help with the aging but it's damned fine rum.
