We have lost TrekBBS moderator Mallory.

Although I didn't know him, he obviously gave a lot of his free time so that us nutty Trek fans could have some fun interacting without getting out of hand. As Dylan Thomas said - "Rage, Rage against the dying of the light" - he obviously did that. Condolences to his family.

RIP Mallory. This is a real shock to say the least. Sincere condolences to the entire family and all of his close friends.

Like so many others, I don't darken these halls as much as in years past. I didn't learn of Mallory's passing until Wednesday and had no knowledge of his illness. When we were mods together back in the day, he was someone I truly respected and considered a friend. He was kind, yet tough, and always striving for fairness. The world needs more souls like his.

To echo others, he was a fair Mod, and an active poster with a good sense of humor. I wan't aware he was sick until I saw the thread announcing he'd passed.

Condolences to his close friends and family.

Many condolences to his friends and family. Mallory was always so, so kind to myself and SPOCKED.

::: very sad :::

I didn't even know he was sick, and I've been here for ten years. Just saw this last night. Rest in peace, Mallory. You were a good man. :(

I wish I'd seen this sooner. He was a truly wonderful man and a great friend to me. I'm deeply saddened about this.

:( Havent been posting much and I just caught this now. Im sorry for his familys loss and everyone who knew him well here. I know I posted in many threads he did in the past but didnt interact personally with him but by all accounts he was a respectable and all around nice guy here at TBBS. Wish I could have gotten to know him better. RIP Mallory.

Holy crap. I never expected to see this news when I logged in. This just makes me so sad.

Mallory and I had our differences back in the day, but as time went on I realized I was just being a childish bitch to him. I grew up, and he and I became good "online buddies". But, as it always seems to go, real life took me away from here.

Rest in peace, Mallory. You'll be missed.
