Being overly nostalgic for my Jr High/High School days I went out and bought the Wayne's World double-feature DVD. (A whopping $10.)

I laughed so hard, had forgotten many of the jokes. Easily these two movies are the best of the SNL Skit-turned-movie and I think showed off nicely Myers' comedic talents.

And, of course, Tia.

Extreme Closeup!!!

I love the movie. I know its cheesey but Bohemian Rhapsody became one of my favs after the movie. I remember finally comprehending its overall meaning when a buddy who I wnet with to the film died a week later in a car accident. Since then the film has been very personal to me.

The best bits:

"People jsust do things because they get paid, and that's just really sad."

"Aliens have kidnapped Wayne? Oh, Wayne's outisde..."

I've got the Wayne's World box myself, and there aren't many comedy movies out there which I feel have enough rewatchabillity to own, so yeah, they're that good. :techman:

"Game on!!!"

My best friend and I made our own "Bohemian Rhapsody" video with a videocamera after seeing Wayne's World.

I've caught Wayne's World on cable (both films) a few times and it always manages to crack me up. Definitely one of the best SNL skit -> movie transitions out there.

The Wayne's world films were one of the rare bright spots in our bleak culture of the early 90's.

20 years from now people will still be watching Raiders of the Lost Ark...and Wayne's World. I'm not saying those films are equally good, just that they'll both entertain future generations. About 95% of entertainment won't end up doing that.

I remember my sister took me to see this when I was around 6 years old and took one of the kids she babysat with us. All I can remember mainly was that I was pissed...

Watched it recently and thought about that for the first time in years.

Ok was this as random a post as I thought?
