Waterworld - Extended Cut anybody???

So, has anybody gotten (and watched) the new (to video) Waterworld - Extended Cut DVD? Mine's in the mail still...shipped the other day, so I'll probably get within the next day or two.

Anyway, like I said, has anybody seen it and what do you think about it? Does it really make it a slightly better film? 'Cause if I can remember, when I did see this version on ABC back in the day, it was a pretty good film with the added footage.

I thought it was an okay movie; not going to jump at the chance to see it again, or even buy a DVD, so whatever is on the extended cut is beyond me.

I don't think this film deserved all the panning it got. It's certainl better than all the Star Wars prequels and the new Indy film.

Yeah, it only took 13 years. That's why I was so disappointed when the original DVD version didn't contain it.

The film wasn't bad right up until the director decided to destroy an oil tanker full of people.

Censored for content to be shown on network TV, including swearing and nudity.
