Was the Dominion anti-solid or pro-changling?

Eventually if the Dominion conquered large swaths of the Alpha Quadrant they would have encountered intelligent spieces vastly different from the typical hominid space fairing races.

How would the Dominion incorporate intelligent gas and energy speices?

Would the Great Link be paralyzed by uncertainty? Would the Dominion stop their fiction of a benevolent tyranny or flirt with democratic ideas as means to prevent inventible civil strife?

The Founders were xenophobes. I doubt they would have been willing to trust anybody they couldn't link with. Not solids. Not energy beings. Not even other shape-shifting races.

Well- they were for solids as long as they were kept "down" and used for doing things- building stuff, or producing food for the people who were building stuff.

Otherwise I'd say the whole Dominion was bent around being pro-Founder specifically, and everything they did was to "protect" themselves- the Jem'Hadar, their ships etc., and those who made those things.

My impression was that they would have liked non-humanoids somewhat better than your average solid, but didn't consider them on par with themselves.

So Medusans, for example, probably would've been given the job of really effective camp guards.

It's mostly how they perceived they were treated (mistrusted, abused) by those tho could not shape-shift, so they felt superior and judged by those with one shape.

With other shapeshifters... dunno... they're so paranoid...
