Well at least we've had more than one artifact this time the pendant, the lab coat, and the cross made out of quartz crystal.
Of Claudia should have heeded Artie's warning, but being the head-strong techno geek that she is this, made a good subplot teaching us more about the artifacts stored at Warehouse 13.

Any thoughts on this one,please

I gave this a excellent as well as the last one.

Have a good Holiday folks

I wasn't really feeling this episode. I like the Mythbusters Kari lookalike but the main plot was kind of creaky, been there done that for me.

A most excellent episode so far.

Strengths;
- Ha! At least they have a stronger guest star (Joe Morton) playing the creepy reverend. At least they used him better than the other stars on Eureka.
- Stronger character building on Myka. You really could see her pain and in the end the music where whatshisface breaks that spell really fit. Even though it didn't actually fit in the front part of the story, it was the highlight and with the obligatory three steps back from an uncomfortable situation (them hugging) it really made that partnership a strong thing to watch.
- The end where Myka torches the envelope. Then she smiles and even with the visions - it is her reaction that sells it.
- The wild and zany plot with the geek girl (Or I shall call Plot B) did have some amusement.

All right:
- The cruel punishment that Artie had with her writing on the board. She was already punished enough - but writing on a chalkboard several times after she was put in danger.

Methinks that the thing was a bit off.

- I did not have the same investment as the whatishisface agent's struggles with his dead firefighter but it was evened out with him helping Myka getting out of that "zonked out" state.

Bad;

I can't think of anything overtly bad about the episode except the lagging of the two agents not finding the crystal/quartz cross.

EDIT: Does anyone know the title for the song that was playing at the end when Myka burned the envelope?

Still in the process of watching the episode, but one thing I have to ask: If the door to the warden's office is "sturdier than most", presumably as defense during riots, why are the hinges on the outside? Making it easy for attackers to take the door down kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

Well I have something to share with everybody I finally wrote to SyFy channel about merchandise suggestions, and here is what I proposed.
Hello,

I've been in the retail industry for 10+ years in my opinion you've got a hit on your hands with Warehouse 13 online games are OK,and conversing with Artie about sending him artifacts to store at the warehouse is the only promotions you can do for 3.7 million viewers of which I'm a part of come on now, where is the board games, replicas of props as toys like a portable video communicator designed to look like the Farnsworth, and a pistol representing the Tesla gun. I have a few suggestions feel free to discuss them, and reply back of what you are going to do about jump starting the merchandise train.

1. Warehouse 13 Board Game - object of the game to find and collect 13-26 artifacts and bring them to the warehouse for safe keeping 2-4 player game each player has a warehouse collection container or a warehouse that they put their artifacts in.The one player with the most artifacts is the winner.

2. Monopoly: Warehouse 13 style game pieces resemble warehouse, Farnsworth,Tesla Gun,collection container,Artie's car,Artie,Myka,Pete,Mrs Frederic,Claudia,Leena,and Dickerson.
the two cards are Artifact cards, and Mission cards. Home base is the Bed& Breakfast(the $200 dollar starting point.)

3.Replica toys based on props from the show.

4.Warehouse agent role playing kits.

5. T-shirts,Jackets, hats, caps, athletic ware like property of Warehouse 13 athletic dept.

6.Bumper-stickers,buttons.

7. computer products by Datamancer Keyboards, mice, and monitors.

This is but a few of the suggestions that could get you started ,but its up to your merchandising dept to take the next step. there is ready market waiting to collect anything from Warehouse 13 like 3.7 million of us think of the revenue SyFy channel could generate from this one target market.

I'll get off my soapbox for now so don't delay retailers are standing by move whatever is feasible to produce quickly, and get results fast.

Thanks for your time in advance.

Let me know if anybody has any suggestions to e-mail SyFy @ feedback@syfy.com just like I did.

But . . . but . . . you forgot the tie-in novels!

You're right I did so sorry Greg, but who knows what is in the mind of SyFy executives they just renewed Eureka for a fourth season. its the ratings that driving them to keep or discard shows.

Gotta eat some lunch

I thought this episode was a bit lame, actually.

If it was a natural phenomenon, then why were all the hallucinations of the same type? And why, with the attractive female agent standing just feet away, did none of the prisoners say ANYTHING? No cat-calls, no whistles, no nothing.

I really didn't get the purpose of Joe Morton's characters; it felt like a lot was cut out or missing.

The one I DID like was Artie trying to save obnoxious Claudia. That at least was interesting.

This is the only episode that I thought was kind of mediocre. I'll definitely keep watching.

Well I have something to share with everybody I finally wrote to SyFy channel about merchandise suggestions, and here is what I proposed.

I would think that, in order to get executives to take you seriously, you would, at the very least, attempt to craft an email devoid of grammatical mistakes, and blatant errors.

If that weren't enough; do you honestly feel as though they would do anything of the sort? The show will be lucky to garner a second season, let alone manage to have a board game or action figures based around it.

Take a second. Remove your bias from the equation. Look at this from a rational standpoint. These things will not sell, beyond the obviously minute niche market to which they would be targeted.

It is a bad idea.

All of that is exactly what I thought. Well, except for the prisoners not acting like idiots around Myka. But the rest, it's as if you took it from my mind.

InvisibleGT I thank you for pointing my gramatical mistakes, but you're missing the point of the post entirely.

As to renewal of Warehouse 13 for a second season its a done deal according to another thread you seem not view is I posted a direct line for line report about the show in the Warehouse 13"duped "episode thread showing viewer numbers, and the fact that season two is next summer, unless they decide to air it earlier like winter 2009-10.

Lets keep it civil please or do you want to take over the discussion threads about Warehouse 13.

Sorry for the hot headed response to Invisible GT,but I stand my ground when it comes to my vocation as a Retail professional having worked for Wizards of the Coast in Columbia,MD for 1/2 a year, and being emersed in selling Board games,Chess sets,Trading card games. This some of the products, that I had a hand in selling during my tenure with Wizards of the coast.
Now for a show history lesson.

Warehouse 13 is the 13th iteration of the Warehouse. The Warehouse was started by Alexander The Great. The Warehouses are located in the nation of the Earth that is in power at the time. Hence, today, it’s in the U.S..

I see no one on this show who looks anything like Kari Byron.

Artie's young assistant, I dunno, she kind of reminds me of her.

I figured that's who you were talking about, but I don't see any resemblance. No matter, though. :)

I found a couple of people who agree with me so I don't feel completely off base. :) All subjective though in the end.

Oh, very true. :) I just don't see it myself.

C'mon guys stop having hard ons, every time Claudia, and Myka walk into a scene. They might be characters on a show, but do you think you'll find them in real life?

Any thoughts on how we could convince SyFy to properly merchandise the show?

Let me know please
