It was alright... the shadowy figures in a cafe reminded me of that SG-1 episode with the Ancients though. Of course, there was also the snow globe thing that was a bit too obvious. It would have been better if they inserted it in an earlier episode, just so it didn't stand out so much.

But yeah, for a "bottle" episode, this was a decent character development show.

It was more light fare and faintly amusing. I like how the guy agent has bonded with the little nerd girl with their own language going on.

Possibly my favorite episode so far. Very cute and clever. (Loved the killer dodgeballs!)

The scenes with the Regents dragged a bit, though. I was more interested in what was going on at the Warehouse.

the dodgeballs were silly, in a good way :D

I knew he was going to guest on the show, but I was surprised to see Mark Sheppard
it's always nice to see him and it seems like he's in everything :D

Very funny episode, but isn't Claudia becoming like Wesley Crusher now?

Above average episode. They could have made an entire episode about the house in the warehouse, though. That was great! :)

I enjoyed it, although after last week's Claudia screw up it doesn't make her look good. My wife was asking, "so is she the comic relief sidekick now?" I hope not.

I do love the bizarre nature of the artifacts, though - the dodgeballs and the house were particularly awesome.

Oh, and the Plath reference. That cracked me up.

Good input people so what do you think SyFy should do greenlight next season to be aired in the winter instead of summer.

Any thoughts?

Hang on people new ratings news comming through the warehouse door.

The 6th episode of the fantasy TV series Warehouse 13 brought in 4.4 million viewers. This makes it the most-watched regular series telecast in the 17-year history of the network.

How's them apples, I predicted that this show would be a hit,and I was right.

I'm happy the show is successful, and enjoy it quite a bit. But to be honest, it hasn't reached a status where I'd mourn its passing...

It would have only pulled in a 1.0 rating on that geeky Sci-Fi Channel, it's only because it's on SyFy that it's now successful.

Maybe, but who knows what the showrunners were thinking prior to launching the show in the first place. For once its growing on me,and I still think with the success its having someone in marketing should have the same light bulb moment that I did.

I attend two conventions a year, and the amount of products of new shows sans the licensed stuff is vast, and fans are eating them up from zines,t-shirts,props,jewelry etc.Don't forget the computer based products, and what Greg Cox is fond of saying"tie in novels".Also the SteamPunk fandom is gaining steam(no pun intended) I counted at least 20 people dressed in 18th-19th century period costumes at a Star Trek/Sci-Fi media convention this summer alone.
So I think there should be a mass writing/e-mail campaign to let the show's excecutive producer team know that by Feb,2010 something offical from SyFy,and Warehouse13 has got be done so that Farpoint 2010,and Shore Leave 32 dealers can benefit from providing to their customers the best merchandise that money could buy from Warehouse13.

That is my take on this

This was a pretty decent episode. I like how they brought in all the artifacts, and how the agents and Claudia had to work together. And any time we get to see Mrs. Fredricks is a good thing.

Still, the end and the "countdown to doom" was a bit cliche, and Claudia is becoming a bit too annoying. I hope they tone her down a bit. But, if they keep building in quality (as they more or less have been), I will definitely stick around.

That it's too bad that uninspired formulaic junk does so well while the truly innovative genre shows like BSG and Pushing Daisies struggle in the ratings.

On this basis, I predict SG:U will be a big hit and Caprica will be on the fast track to cancellation city.

Temis, I hope you're right about Caprica, but BSG Fans might differ with you on cancelation. I wouldn't call Warehouse 13 uninspired formulaic junk its excellent Sci-Fi TV IMO.

Usually, I hate bottle episodes, but noting the premise of W13, such an episode opens up a LOT of possibilities. Personally, I hope they do a few more like this in the future. The Warehouse is filled with weird artifacts, and a bottle show would allow a great deal of these items to be displayed, and in certain cases, used. And they did that, all while not falling back on the neutralizer goo. That's tough to write, and I commend the writers on finding solutions to neutralize some artifacts without having to slather on the purple stuff, pull out the gloves, or some silver bag.

That said, Pete is my least favorite character so far, while Myka is my most favorite. Claudia is getting into Welsey territory, but she's not there yet. As for Artie, Ms. Fredericks, and the Regents, they are all good. And Mark Sheppard is never a bad thing for a show. Their explanation about the Regents being regular folks like you and me is brilliant.

And now, we prepare for the inevitable smackdown with the agents and MacPherson. Can't wait.
