Assuming it is between Ben and Widmore

I could have also put "The Island" as a third option, was about to, but thought that would be too easy, everyone would vote that. The hard part is trying to figure out which one of these two are on the Islands side.

The War that is Coming, who would you get behind

While Ben was in charge of the Others, they were a significant and ongoing threat to the Losties. Since his role has taken him away from them, the Others have tended to leave well enough alone. Ben = Lawful evil.

Now, Widmore sent the Freighter, and Keamy, and Keamy killed a lot of people. But it's not clear to me that Widmore intended that to happen. Sure, he chose Keamy knowing who and what he was, but his goal was probably just to send someone effective. Until we know more I'd have to put Widmore under Chaotic Neutral.

Ben is the good guy, he's just a messed up manipulative cold blooded killer bastard. Widmore, on the other hand, is clearly more "evil". While Ben manipulates events to be in charge, Widmore clearly is more of a thug attempting to violently wrest control. I dunno if he wants to commercially exploit the Island the way Ben says, but I could believe it.

Yeah pretty much. Widmore's very much still an unknown quantity at this point. At least you can count on Ben to be a bastard so you can sort of plan around that.

We don't really know either of their motives. We'll see how this all plays out. But I think theyre both relatively the villains and the island is just a power play. I'm on Jacob's side!

It's difficult to say, because clearly they are both pretty damn evil.

Widmore is still unknown. We know he's a bastard who hired people to kill Ben and anyone who might be with him. But beyond that, we don't know much more than that.

But we've seen Ben's evil in some detail, and he's pretty f**king evil. He's tried to kill (or has killed) Locke TWICE. He had the entire Dharma Initiative killed--including the kids. He loves to screw with people's heads.

I think, with what we know right now, I'd go with Widmore.

But, if given a third choice, I'd go with Locke.

Yeah, I don't think I could side with Ben either. Too much bad shit gone down has been from his doing. I'm not saying that Widmore's an Angel but if I had to side with either, it'd probably be him at the moment. Of course, we're a couple of revelations away from having the truth revealed so what do I know.

Whoever Jacob and/or Locke choose will be the right side. Eventually.

I'd go with Widmore. I don't know anything about him but he did send Abbadon to be John's nurse and to talk him into going on the walkabout, so he must have wanted John there for some reason.
