Re: WANTED: ART STAFF

i'M OPENING THIS TO INCLUDE ANY PERSON/S WHO CAN TAKE ON A CHALLENGE FOR THIS PROJECT...

IT'S A BIG ONE, NEVER ATTEMPTED BEFORE..

IF YOU THINK YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES, DROP ME A LINE.

SEEKING:

- FLASH ANIMATORS

- STORY BOARD ARTISTS

- MUSCAL SCORE ARTISTS

- INKERS

- DIGITAL PAINTERS

Too bad Carmine Infantino's retired.

...and the king is dead, nevertheless.

The proposed Trek project is moving ahead - the following positions require good people, understanding that it is Fanfic and volunteer only (as per polices set out by CBS/ Viacom/ Paramount)

POSITIONS NEEDED ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- EDITOR: (FILLED)

- SPECIAL DIGITAL FX ARTIST: (FILLED)

- LAYOUT ARTIST/S (1 – 2 x needed):
This is someone who can look at a script/ teleplay/ screen, etc, and see exactly what’s going on . Interpret that and have it travel all the way down the arm, out through the finger tips in the way of storyboards. Storyboards are vital, and believe it or not, this is the one that requires the least artistic ability, but the most flexibility, and that you may have a scene returned and discarded that you put hours into. You’re essentially a liaise between the writing and art depts. The most thankless, but the most appreciated. Experience with animation, camera/ scene blocking and pacing are strong points here. Stickmen *are* acceptable for this one.

- INKERS (1 FILLED; 2 x needed):
No offense, but this one’s for pro’s or intermediate skill levels only. This one can take years to master. If you don’t have any practical experience, even if just for your own amusement, this is probably not for you. It’s such a refined art, I won’t bother with the description.

- DIGITAL PAINTERS (CEL AND BACKGROUND) (2), to the entire staff of Disney)
These are my trench troops. Absolutely vital to the process, they are responsible for the appearance to ensure consistency with the artistic process; kinda halfway between artist/ editor.

- FLASH ANIMATORS (3), to the entire staff of Disney desired and welcome:
This isn’t animation in the conventional sense. Anyone familiar with the concept of motion books knows it’s a matter of bringing believability to the screen than just about movement. Ideal for animators looking for intern work.

- MUSICAL SCORE ARTIST (You have something original to say?)

Application deadline is November 1st, 2010. Hope to hear from you soon (tho later portfolios will be reviewd as they come in depending on position critical factor…) Every contributor gets an individual credit. They can be submitted to TMIMultimedia@hotmail.com for review.

Whattaya say, Fanboy? You got it where it counts?
