Walter Koenig's Son is Missing!

Andrew Koenig, the son of Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, is missing. The last time Andrew Koenig was seen was on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2010, in Vancover, British Columbia. Andrew Koenig never boarded his flight back to the US, and he hasn't heard from since then.

Andrew Koenig, 41, was working as a camera operator on the show "Never Not Funny" as well as doing improv in Los Angeles. Best known as "Boner" from "Growing Pains", Andrew also appeared on DS9 and is a talented actor director, editor and photographer as well as a passionate activist. In 2008, he was arrested at the Rose Bowl protest. He was protesting on behalf of the country of Burma.

This is a serious matter that has Koenig's friends and family gravely concerned. If you have seen him, emailed him or had any contact after the 14th or spent time with him during his stay in Vancouver please call Detective Raymond Payette of the Vancouver PD at 604-717-2534.

That sucks. I hope he is alright. Loved him on growing pains. After he left that show it sucked.
 
I've been spreading the word on my blog and twitter. CNN also had a brief report about it this morning. Hopefully he'll be found (and will be okay).
 
There are only two ways this can end. And one of them involves someone named 'Andrea'

But I wish he'd let SOMEONE know he's okay :(

Sorry, that report is a misquote of the police press release. Andrew's phone received a text on the 16th, the same day he used an ATM. The phone has been off since and, although there have been many tips, there are no confirmed sightings of Andrew since he visited his favorite bakery near Stanley Park on the 14th.

There is also no evidence of foul play, so police said they "hope he's still alive and in the area".
