'Walking with Dinosaurs'

Has anyone ever seen a live-action show called "Walking with Dinosaurs"? I'm not talking about the special that ran on various educational channels - this is a live show that's been touring for three years: http://www.dinosaurlive.com/

They use both giant Muppet-like puppets and radio-controlled robots to simulate how dinosaurs actually looked and moved. Or so they say.

It's coming here in July, and it sounds fabulous, but it's also kind of pricy, so I wondered if anybody's been and can tell me how worthwhile it is? Tickets go on sale Monday!

^ Running dinosaurs would be a little hard on the venue, though - it's going to be in a athletic arena-type joint (where the local NBA team plays).

I saw the live Walking With Dinosaurs show last year when it came to town. As you say, it's a little on the pricey side but I really enjoyed it. Let me know if you need more information.

This came to my town last year. I work next door to the arena where it was held, so I got a lot of customers who went to the show. They said it was very impressive.
