I just finished watching "Walking Tall" with Joe Don Baker. Does anybody know why Joe Don Baker wasn't recast in "Walking Tall Part II" and "Walking Tall Part III"???

I'm not positive but IIRC I read that Baker decided it would be better for his career to do something different.

It just seemed to me that the role was made for Joe Don Baker, it is to bad that he passed on Walking Tall II and Walking Tall III.
