Vulcans and Spix Macaw chicks

BohandiAnsoid

In my stories (that is a separate universe containing elements from many fictional stories, plus a lot of original elements), Spix Macaws of the Spix Macaw sanctuary were massacred by enemy humans and had a very bad population situation. However, the Vulcans went to help. This included them landing the ship in the Sanctuary. Pairs of Spix Macaws were then taken aboard to lay new eggs and make new chicks. When chicks in a brood hatched, they were moved with their mother to a specially designed “observation room”, where every mother macaw and her brood had a special, separate enclosure. However, while pre - fluff chicks caused no problems, as soon as they got fluffy and could move on their own, problems began. The enclosures were insufficient to keep the fluffy chicks inside. They even began escaping the “observation room” and into other parts of the Vulcan ship…

Now, in my stories, this was just mentioned in passing. Now, I would like to ask you how such interactions would actually go? How it would look like as Vulcan crewmembers stumble upon fluffy Spix Macaw chicks that are cute, coo and try to engage them? Do you have any idea for any particular situation involving this?

I am writing my own things. But I am asking if anyone have their own opinion on the subject. As it happened before. I don't do this with everything and I wrote a lot of things without anyone's help.

If you don't want to help, then never mind. Case closed.

I’m just trying to figure out why you constantly ask other people here for ideas and then never actually write anything here.

Dude, you're constantly asking for "opinions."

Well, I am writing things but I am generally not publishing here (I published a few tings some time ago) because I already began publishing things elsewhere and there are rules for content here. So I would have to be careful not to trigger any of them. But you may look for my nickname of Archive of Our Own and all my stories are there.

So you constantly bug us for ideas but have no intention of posting your fan fiction here? This is not a place to solicit traffic to your personal website or have us do all your work for you. This is a place to post your fan fiction.

It was a hot and humid night on Risa, my office air conditioner had taken a crap the day before and I didn't have enough dough to fix it. The neon sign from the bar across the street kept flashing a red haze through my window, highlighting the words "Spix Macaw, Private Investigator." painted on it. I was about to call it night when a figure appeared in my door way, silhouetted by the lights of the hallway. The shape was a perfect figure eight and I ain't talking ice skating.

But the voice that rang out was as cold as as any ice rink., "Mister Macaw, I wish to engage your services.

As she stepped into the light, I could see she was an Vulcan, but unlike any Vulcan I'd ever seen. Sure, she had that goofy bowl cut, but instead of robes she was sporting a blue skin tight uniform that accentuated every curve. Where's the logic in that, I thought.

She pulled out a holoscreen and set on my desk. With a quick motion she turned it on. The image projest was of a genial looking guy, a human with a shit eating grin and spikey hair

In that cool voice of hers she said, "I need you to find this man..."

I looked in her dark eyes and said, "Trip Tucker? You're crazy lady, Trip Tucker is dead! It was on all the feeds. He died years ago."

She looked back at me and replied, "That's what they want you to believe."
