Vulcan Info Help

I'm trying to remember something from Star Trek, there being an element or something in the atmosphere of Vulcan that someone can become allergic too or something, I think it starts with a "T"... any ideas?

I hope it wasn't from some RPG product and is now super obscure

There's no element that can cause allergies, the problem is that the Vulcan atmosphere is so thin that many offworlders require oxygen supplements otherwise they'll tire easily.
