Vulcan culture seems pretty sketchy at times…

Vulcan culture works most smoothly with a high degree on conformity.
I agree. They do not like it when their people tread their own path. While they try show they are a ‘perfect’ culture,, they are quite bigoted (see the way young Spock is treated in the Kelvin movies and the way they are portrayed in Enterprise, for example).
While the Vulcans are one of the earliest aliens portrayed in the franchise and 3 of the major characters across the franchise have been Vulcan, the culture hasn’t been explored anywhere near as closely as the Klingons. The novels have covered a lot more ground. It’ll be interesting to see how future series portray the culture, as of the developments shown in Discovery.

The Vulcans were biased in TOS and TAS too.

It’s more obvious in Ent and the Kelvin movies.
:vulcan:

BOY: Earther! Barbarian! Emotional Earther! You're a Terran, Spock. You could never be a true Vulcan.
Y SPOCK: That is not true. My father
BOY 2: Your father brought shame to Vulcan. He married a human.
(Young Spock lunges at him, but they dodge him easily)
BOY: You haven't even mastered a simple Vulcan neck pinch yet, Earther.
(~Yesteryear).

T'PAU: Spock, are our ceremonies for outworlders? (~Amok Time)

T'PAU: It is said thy Vulcan blood is thin. Are thee Vulcan or are thee human?
SPOCK: I burn, T'Pau. My eyes are flame. My heart is flame. Thee has the power, T'Pau. In the name of my fathers, forbid. Forbid! T'Pau. I plead with thee! I beg!
T'PAU: Thee has prided thyself on thy Vulcan heritage. It is decided.
(~Amok Time).

I feel it's pretty obvious. Much less Sarek's attitude at Spock's birth.

Enterprise made the Vulcan bigotry a part of the fabric of the show, rather than an odd scene in an episode here and there which were specifically written for a character’s back story.
You deliberately looking for an argument? It is conceivable we all view things from different angles based on our own experiences and backgrounds.

I'm not deliberately looking for anything. This is my observations of Vulcans in TOS/TAS which seemed at least biased towards themselves and against humans in the limited time we saw them in TOS. It felt very much in line with Enterprise and Kelvin films.
