Although he'd probably be safe, I have a real hard time getting a slapper on net, a wrist shot is a different story.

Apparently there's a version played on wheels. It's really funny watching a roller player try to play ice hockey the first couple of times.

And Orac Zen tells me there's a version played on grass, with a ball, usually by women in skirts.

I've only had maybe four masks in my lifetime, and that's in about 14 years of goaltending, so I average 3-4 years per mask. I'd like to start a collection, though, and get a few painted. I need to be rich.

Used it in a game yesterday, and it performed beautifully. Took a puck off the dangler and no scratches just yet.
