Voyager short story or novel, can anyone help me find it?

I remember reading this story, but I can't find the story or the book that it was in.

Basically the store has a damaged Voyager and a group or species in the Delta Quadrant who take them in. This group had once lived on a planet but now they live in space on larger stations or artificial moons that orbit their home world. Janeway is convinced that they should repair the ship and continue on their way home, while members of the crew begin to integrate into society. The Doctor is one store line I can remember for sure that they begin to put him into remote bodies, or remote medical drones and send him all over this groups territory. In the end they repair Voyager and she becomes the flagship for the start of a new federation in the delta quadrant.

Does this story sound familiar to anyone. I appreciate the time that anyone took to read this ,and they help that anyone could offer.

So I open the thread wondering if I'll recognize the description, and then I recognize it as a description of the Myriad Universes novel I wrote, and then I see that the question's already been answered without me. So I guess my work here is done. I hope you enjoy it!

I read it when it came it, and I was a fan of the story, wanted to read it again. It's my plan for this evening. I'm sure my explanation doesn't do the actual story any justice
