Janeway - Katie Sackhoff, who starts as the ship's exec before the Caretaker beam kills half the crew
Chakotay - Dwayne Johnson
Tuvok - Tim Kang
EMH - Karl Urban, a hologram of McCoy that incorporates knowledge and personality traits from other doctors we're familiar with, too. I think Urban can pull this off.
Locarno (Not Paris) - Darren Criss
Torres - Rosario Dawson
Kes - Zooey Deschanel (no 9 year total life span - instead, when she is 9, she knows she will undergo metamorphosis and come out significantly changed)
Mohamed Kateb (Algerian, Not Kim) - Tyler James Williams
Neelix - A Melmacian voiced by Louis C.K. No reference will ever be made to the program Alf on the show/movie, the character will be played as if there's nothing unusual about him.

Seven of Nine - original name, Loran. El Aurian, original personality was never fully assimilated and is subsumed under the "artificial" Borg persona she has lived with since shortly before the incident with Kirk and the Nexus - which may or may not be considered just as valid a being at this point as the original personality, a point of contention on the show. The subsumed personality appears in dreams and visions to the main personality, calmly wants control of her body back but is very wise and understanding like Guinan, even with her own body's other personality.

Saying that Tim is almost a hundred didn't leave much to the imagination, it's an adult playing an adult, but a 17 year old kid playing a 90 year old, while a different 17 year old kid is playing a 2 year old, would have been pleasant bookends.

I didn't think that Bieber is so unpopular. On the other hand, Bieber fans are unlikely to be trekkies....
Bottom line: Bieber as cameo in the new ST movie, and the people flee from the cinemas/theaters.
