Voyager on Virgin 1

To all those in the UK who are currently unaware, the first season of Voyager begins on Monday 11th August at 8pm on Virgin 1.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand i like Voyager and can't wait to see it again. On the other it means that TNG is being pulled off the air at the end of its fourth season. Which makes me extremely unhappy as TNG is my favourite Trek show.

Anyone else think this.

At least you've had a heads-up. They pulled DS9 after the fifth season finale back in March with very little warning. They'll probably pull Voyager in September to make room for more adverts for The Unit.

I mean, seriously! How much advertising does one show need?

While I will be sad not to have TNG on my TV every week night, I do have four seasons of it on DVD to feed my TNG love. I am very glad that I will get to see early Voyager though - have only seen a bit of season 6 and all of season 7, and a few other episodes from various seasons.

Perhaps by getting to see it on Virgin 1 I'll be able to post in here a bit more.
